Free parking is available to all patients of Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital.
If you are coming to the main hospital (Building 200) you can park in the lots closest to the hospital on both the north and south sides of the facility. Visitors are welcome to park in any lot on the facility, keeping in mind that some individual spots have been designated specifically for hospital volunteers or for drop-off and delivery.
Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking is located outside each building on our facility.
Valet Parking Service
Free valet parking is offered to our patients at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital.
You can drive up to the main entrance of Building 200 and have a professional driver park your vehicle. When you are finished with your appointment, go back to the main entrance, present your claim check, and a driver will retrieve your care for you.
The Valet Service will stop parking cars at 4:00 p.m. If your medical treatment at the hospital requires you to be here later than 6:00 p.m., you can pick up your keys from the Administrative Officer of the Day, located in Admission and Benefits section next to the main entrance of the facility.

Security
Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 22013. In case of an emergency, dial 23200. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
Our parking lots are also equipped with emergency phones that automatically ring the security office when picked up.
