Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital is getting a huge external facelift!

We are excited to announce the start of the major construction project on our 15-story bed tower, Building 200. The exterior of the tower, the facade, was built in the 1970s. It will be transformed from brick and concrete fins to beautiful glass windows. This tower replacement project began June 1, 2015, when contractors began replacement of the north façade wall, and will be done in phases.

During this construction project, patients and visitors may experience noise and vibration associated with saw cutting, drilling and material removal. There may also be changes in various clinic locations as the work is completed. It is our goal to provide timely advance notice of any change in location for our Veterans' upcoming appointments. We look forward to continually meeting the needs of our Veterans as we progress through the project to completion.

Hines employees are proud of the top quality care we offer our Veterans here at Hines. We ask all Veterans and visitors for your patience during the major construction projects coming up and remember that this is all part of us making Hines the best we can be. It's All About the Veteran At Hines!
