This program is designed to treat individuals with traumatic brain injury using direct treatment tools as well as compensatory strategies with the goal of improving the patient’s day to day life. Therapy is based upon the individuals needs and may focus upon techniques to assist with school, work, and home activities.
Located in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic, Speech Pathologists diagnose and treat voice disorders using state of the art instrumentation including videostroboscopy, Visi-Pitch, and aerodynamic measurements of voice.
Intensive Dysphagia Program
This clinic is designed to evaluate and treat patients with dysphagia through objective measures and evidence based treatments including use of the SwallowStrong device, Surface EMG, use of the IOPI device, prophylactic traditional exercises, and EMST.
The ALS Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic focused upon the care and support of veterans with ALS. Speech pathologists within this clinic provide assessments and treatment for speech, voice, and swallowing disorders.
