About the Program

The Extended Care Center (ECC) at Hines is located in Building 217, at the far southwest corner of the Hines campus. The Extended Care Center includes two large units and a 30-bed reactivation/rehabilitation unit. A gift of the Illinois AMVETS, the reactivation center includes an Easy Street Environment for rehabilitation therapies, a large recreation room and a courtyard healing garden that is especially enjoyed by patients and staff.
