Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

PM&R is a branch of medicine which aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities.


Provides treatment programs to improve patient functionality,  including therapeutic exercise, mobility training, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Driver Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and Spinal Cord Injury. Read more about Kinesiotherapy.

Occupational Therapy 

Provides goal-directed treatment utilizing a variety of techniques and activities to improve functional daily skills, upper extremity range of motion, muscle strength, coordination, balance, endurance, and visual-perceptual skills. Read more about Occupational Therapy.

Physical Therapy 

Provides services to veterans who have experienced changes in physical function and health by developing an individualized treatment plan which may include prescribing exercise and activities to improve movement, facilitate independence, and regain quality of life. Read more about Physical Therapy.

Recreation Therapy

Utilizes leisure education, therapy, recreation participation, and complementary medicine to improve physical function; enhance well-being; increase or maintain independence; develop healthy coping techniques; enhance or maintain social involvement; and manage pain and stress. Read more about Recreation Therapy.
